Mary Henning

Mary Beth Henning, of St. Johns, died Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the age of 81. Born September 26, 1933, she was the daughter of Carson and Eva (Matthews) Shinabery. Mary Beth was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. On June 8, 1957 she married Dale L. Henning and he preceded her in death in 1995.

Surviving are her children Linda (Kevin) Whitbeck of DeWitt, Lori (David) Gantz of Greenville, Mike Henning of Elsie, Lisa Rushin of Alma, Mark Henning of St. Johns, Leslie (Robert) Zache of Niles; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brothers, Kent (Joyce) Shinabery, Robert (Sue) Shinabery; sister-in-law, Chris Shinabery; and many nieces and nephews. Along with her husband, Mary Beth was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Max Shinabery.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Johns with Fr. Michael Williams presiding. Burial will follow at Eureka Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday, June 15 and 2-4 and 6-8 PM Tuesday, June 16 at Osgood Funeral Home. A Vigil service will be prayed at 7 PM Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mary Beth's name to Hospice House of Mid-Michigan, 1210 W. Saginaw St., Lansing, MI 48915. The family is being served by the Osgood Funeral Homes, 104 E. Cass St., St. Johns, MI 48879.
