Mary Hull, 74, of Danville passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at the Hawthorne Inn of Danville. Mary was born on August 5, 1936 in Lansing, Michigan daughter of Lewie and Mildred (Graham) Hull.
Survivors include sister Arlene Hull; nieces: Marcia (Michael) Reese, Rebecca Hull, Brenda (Cliff) Hull, Lisa Hull, and Candy (Mychael) Luighibiel; nephew Lewie (Michele) Hull, four great nephews and her beloved Siamese cats Buddy and Missy. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers Richard, Douglas, and William.
Mary graduated from Rodney B. Wilson High School in St. John's, Michigan and received her degree in occupational therapy from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. She worked in the mental health field in Traverse City, Michigan; Little Rock, Arkansas, and Danville, Illinois. Mary had numerous talents in arts and crafts, decorating, and loved antiques. Her strong faith and witness brought her to her Ridgeview Baptist Church family where she was an active member. She was a Red Hat lady and belonged to or supported many local organizations.
A Celebration of Mary's Life will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, June 11, 2011 at the Osgood Funeral Home in St. Johns with Pastor Cayle Beagle officiating . In lieu of flowers please make memorials to Ridgeview Baptist Church or the Danville, IL Humane Society. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.sunsetfuneralhome.com. The Osgood Funeral Home is the local home providing services to the family.
