Mary A. Jones, age 92, of Owosso, Michigan died Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Memorial Healthcare in Owosso, Michigan.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie, MI on Friday, May 3, 2013 at 2:00 P.M., with Rev. Ray A. Strawser II officiating. Burial will follow at Ford Cemetery, Gratiot County, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2013 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Mary was born in Elsie, Michigan on March 11, 1921, the daughter of John and Anna (Banar) Pospisil. She graduated from Elsie High School with the class of 1940. On March 1, 1958 she married Robert L. Jones in Durand, Michigan; he passed away in 1976. Mary was a homemaker and had worked for Redmond's and Mid-West in her earlier years. She resided most of her life in the Owosso area.

She is survived by her son Jerry L. Jones of Owosso, MI, stepson Richard and Margaret Jones of Arizona, and sister Francis and Izzy Nowak of Flushing, MI. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, 2 sisters; Bessie Homister, and Lillian Bradac, and 3 brothers; Charles, Joseph, and Frank Pospisil.
