Mary A. Kral age 94 of Ashley, Michigan died Sunday, October 8, 2006 at Hazel I. Findlay Country Manor St. Johns, MI.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Cyril's Catholic Church Bannister, MI on Thursday, October 12, 2006 at 10:00 AM. Rev. Fr. Wolfgang Streichardt will officiate with burial at Riverside Cemetery Elsie, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2006 from 6-8 P.M. and Wednesday, October 11, 2006 from 2-8 P.M. with family present 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Rosary will be prayed on Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Mary was born in St. Johns, Michigan on January 7, 1912 the daughter of Joseph C. and Katherine ( Polasek ) Miros. She resided most of her life in Ashley, Michigan. Mary married James Kral on February 6, 1931 at St. Cyril's Catholic Church, Bannister, MI. He died on October 27, 1969. She was a retired cook for Ashley Schools, and she did chicken dinners at the church. Mary played the accordian and sang in the choir. She enjoyed sewing, fishing, snowmobiling, and attending sporting events that her grandchildren played in. Mary was a member of St. Cyril's Catholic Church. St Cyril's Altar Society and a member of the Soukol Group in Detroit.

She is survived by 2 daughters; Helen & Jim Stehlik of Ashley, MI, Mary Jane & Carl Bornemann of Ashley, MI, 2 sons; Laddie & Carole Kral of Ashley, MI, Robert & Linda Kral of Ashley, MI, 21 grandchildren; Diane & Mark Losee, Rosemary & Kary Cooper, Kenneth Stehlik, Sharon & Tom Densmore, Randy & Karen Stehlik, Alan & Chris Stehlik, Jimmy & Jenni Stehlik, Janette & Matt Monroe, Bonnie & Frank Cermak, Vicki & Mark Denovich, Kathy & Gary Godfrey, Teresa & Jeff Sovis, Angie Kral, Robbie & Amber Kral, Mary Lou Kral & Jeremy, Sherie & Jimmy Loynes, Teri & Rob Paradise, Shawna Bornemann & John, Dr. Melissa & Reggie Osborn, Kristin & Jason McCammon, and Cindy & Tony Winslow, 44 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren, and sister-in-law Mildred Ondrusek of St. Johns. MI She is predeceased by Parents, husband, 1 son James, 2 grandsons; Jeffrey & Thomas, 3 sisters; Jenni, Leafy, Frances, and 3 brothers; John, Joseph, & Paul.

Memorials may be made to St. Cyril's Catholic Church. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie Chapel.
