Mary Wingle

Mary Jane "Sally" Wingle, age 67, of Ashley, MI passed away Thursday, October 21, 2010 at her home with her family at her side.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, 1333 E. Center Street, Ithaca Chapel, on Monday, October 25, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. Mr. Tom Bradley will officiate and burial will follow at Ithaca Cemetery Ithaca, MI. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 24, 2010 from 6-8 PM. at Smith Family Funeral Home, Ithaca Chapel.

Mary was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 26, 1943, the daughter of Delbert and Emma Jean (Barrett) Lewis. She was a graduate of Ithaca High School class of 1961. Mary married Richard Wingle on June 22, 1963 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Ithaca. She was a lifelong resident of the Ashley area. She retired from Ingham Medical Center as a medical biller. Mary loved gardening, playing with her grandsons, being outdoors, and being with family.

She is survived by her husband Richard Wingle of Ashley, MI, 2 daughters; Brenda and Ken Schreiner of Ashley, MI, Lisa and Fred Boling of Bath, MI, 2 grandsons; Devin and Bryce Schreiner of Ashley, MI, 2 brothers; Bill and Linda Lewis of St. Louis, MI, and Ed Lewis of St. Louis, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a twin brother Richard Lewis.
