Masie Lovisa Suzor age 83 of St. Louis, Michigan died on Friday, April 1, 2005 at Tuscola County Medical Care Facility in Caro, Michigan. Funeral services will be held at St. Louis First Baptist Church on Friday, April 8, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. Pastor Greg Oa�(TM)Boyle will officiate and burial will take place at Chapel Gardens Cemetery in Elwell, Michigan. Visitation will be on Thursday April 7 from 3-7 PM at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis chapel.
Masie was born on December 2, 1921 in Pompeii, Michigan the daughter of Fred F. and Hattie Mae (Moon) Carpenter; she had resided in St. Louis, Michigan until moving to Caro 5 years ago. She graduated from Fulton High School with the class of 1940. On January 21, 1944 she married George W. Suzor in Bay City, Michigan; he passed away April 20, 1982. She was a homemaker, and a wonderful caregiver to her mother and husband.
Masie was a long time member of the First Baptist Church in St. Louis, where she was active in various capacities, and had also volunteered at the Baptist Childrena�(TM)s Home.
Survivors include 3 children, Shirley & Rev. Arnie Koriath of Phoenix, Arizona, Dorothy & Dennis Allis of Glendale, Arizona, Gilbert & Mary Suzor of Caro, Michigan, 8 grandchildren, Logan & Daniel Huecker of Santa Barbara, California, Taylor Robertson of Tucson, Arizona, Heidi Koriath of Flagstaff, Arizona, Holli Koriath of San Diego, California, Lissa Borchers of Glendale, Arizona, Greg Suzor of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Anne & Aaron Wyman of West Lafayette, Indiana, Kristine & Benjamin Wilcox of Athens, Georgia, 2 sisters In law, Myrtle McComber of Ashley, Michigan, Gladys Seconder of West Bloomfield, Michigan, brother in law, Harley & Peg Suzor of Prairieville, Louisiana.
She was predeceased by her parents, husband, a brother Raymond Carpenter, and a sister Harriet Miller.
