Maurice M. Rodman age 75 of DeWitt, Michigan died Thursday, November 4, 2004 at Mid-Michigan Hospice House, Lansing, MI.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 6, 2004 at St. Johns First Baptist Church, St. Johns MI. Pastor Tim Knaus will officiate with burial at Rowley Cemetery, Williamston, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 5, 2004 from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Johns Chapel.
Maurice was born in Lansing, Michigan on June 19, 1929 the son of Harold & Lois ( Hinkle ) Rodman. He graduated from Williamston High School with the class of 1948. He has resided in DeWitt, Michigan since 1962. Maurice married Alvera Kruger on July 6, 1957 at the East DeWitt Bible Church. He has been a master plumber throughout the area since 1963. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and four-wheeling. Maurice was a member of St. Johns First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Alvera Rodman of DeWitt, MI, 6 daughters; Sue & Myron Moore of Jackson, MI, Kay Rodman of St. Johns, MI, Kitty & Keith Lawrence of Honesdale, PA, Lynn & Robert Fox of Lansing, MI, Ann & David Forman of Laingsburg, MI, Patty & Jeff Rouse of Laingsburg, MI, 13 grandchildren, 2 brothers; Gerald Rodman of DeWitt, MI, Verlyn & Phyllis Rodman of Laingsburg, MI. He is predeceased by his parents.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or Mid-Michigan Hospice House. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Johns Chapel.
