Maxine Campbell

Maxine Joan Campbell age 73 of Farwell, formerly of Corunna, Michigan, died Saturday, May 5, 2007 at her home in Farwell, Michigan.

There will be a service on Monday at the Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home in Farwell, Michigan at 1:00 P.M. with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. Rev. Nancy Fulton will officiate. Visitation will be on Tuesday & Wednesday from 2-8 P.M. with family present 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna chapel with funeral services on Thursday, at 11:00 am at the funeral home in Corunna, with burial at Pine Tree Cemetery. Rev. Russell Merrill will officiate.

Maxine was born in Lansing, Michigan the daughter of Maxwell & Stella (Harrington) Moore on September 2, 1933. She graduated from Corunna High School with the class of 1951 and resided most of her life in the Corunna area. On January 9, 1954 she married Wallace Daniel Campbell at St. Paula�(TM)s Episcopal Church in Corunna, Michigan, Wallace predeceased her in 1980. She started her banking career in 1953 at the Corunna State Bank, and retired in 1995 from Old Kent/ 5th Third Bank. She was a member of St. Paula�(TM)s Episcopal Church in Corunna, and enjoyed playing golf, CMU football games and traveling to Florida and playing shuffle board.

Survivors include her son Daniel Campbell of Corunna, Michigan, 1 daughter Lisa & Larry Jones of Corunna, Michigan, 1 granddaughter Kally Jones of Corunna, Michigan, special friend Paul Jensen of Farwell, Michigan, Paula�(TM)s family; Marc & Maureen Jensen of Colorado, Judy & Gary Vergon of Charlevoix, Michigan, Jerry Jensen of California, 3 grandchildren, Gregory & Nicholas Jensen, and Clare Jensen-Rose, her in laws and the entire Campbell family. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, and 1 sister Phyllis.

Memorials may be made to the Corunna Athletic Club. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel.
