Mazie E. ( Schultheiss ) Terry age 98 of St. Louis, MI died Monday, July 4, 2005 at her home.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 8, 2005 at 11:00 AM at First United Methodist Church St. Louis, MI. Pastor Lillian French will officiate with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery St. Louis, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2005 from 2-6 PM at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel.

Mazie was born in Brant, Michigan on July 12, 1906 the daughter of Louie and Mary ( Barnes ) Schultheiss. She resided most of her life in Flint & St. Louis, Michigan. She graduated from St. Louis High School with the class of 1926. She earned her Bacholors Degree in Education in 1956 from Central Michigan University. In March of 1933 Mazie married Gaylord Terry in Middleton, Michigan. He passed away in 1966. She was a school teacher for various country schools in Gratiot County & Middleton before moving to Flint to teach at Bendle Elementary Schools until she retired. She also enjoyed crocheting and making mittens, hats and afghans for the Salvation Army. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, St. Louis, MI as well as Gleaners, Cooperative Extension Service, and Michigan Education Association.

She is survived by her daughter Lorna & James Robar of St. Louis, MI, 3 grandsons; Philip Robar of California, Terry & Kathleen Robar of Inverness, IL, Michael & Lynnette Robar of Gahanna, OH, 7 great grandchildren; Amanda Martin of Dayton, OH, Jacqueline Martin of Paris, IL, Jamey Robar of Inverness, IL, Samuel Robar of Inverness, IL, Robert Robar of Inverness, IL, Kaitlyn Robar of Gahanna, OH, Heather Robar of Gahanna, OH, great great grandson Jacob Martin of Paris, IL, brother Dale & Irene Schultheiss of Alma, MI, sister-in-law Dorothy Terry of Middleton, MI, and several nieces & nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, husband, 1 brother Norman Schultheiss and 1 sister Treva Ward.

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, St. Louis, Michigan. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel, 117 North East Street, St. Louis, Michigan 48880
