Melba J. Kittle, age 71, of Ithaca, MI died Saturday, December 11th, 2010 at her home. A Memorial Service will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Ithaca Chapel Ithaca, MI on Monday, December 13th at 1:00 P.M. , Pastor Kathy Thigpen will officiate. Visitation will be held on Monday Noon until time of service. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca chapel.

Melba was born in Ithaca, Michigan on January 16, 1939, the daughter of Charles and Crystal (Stoner) Patterson. On July 17, 1981 she married Claude Kittle in New Caney, Texas. Melba was a homemaker and enjoyed traveling, doing beading and resided most of her life in Ithaca, Muskegon and Humble, Texas.

She is survived by her husband, Claude Kittle of Ithaca, MI; 2 daughters, Pamula and Gene Goodwin of Twin Lake, MI; Barbara Bark of Muskegon, MI; 2 sons, Duane and Katie Rainbolt of Muskegon, MI; Charles Rainbolt of Muskegon, MI; 4 stepchildren Paul and Gina Kittle of Muskegon, MI; Doris Kittle of Muskegon, MI; Tommie and Julie Kittle of Muskegon, MI; Debora and Larry Benson of Muskegon, MI; 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 3 sisters, Peggy Marcus, Sandy and Norm Graham, Leona and Bob Todd, 2 brothers, JR and Thelma Patterson, Charles and Nancy Patterson. She is also survived by
many nieces & nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, grandaughter, 3 sisters, Wynona, Waneda, Rosemary, 2 brothers Red and Melvin
Memorials may be made to the Hospice Program.
