Melvin Morse

Melvin "Bud" Eugene Morse, age 78, of Corunna, MI passed away Saturday, November 14th, 2009 at Durand Senior Care & Rehab Center , Durand, MI.

In accordance with Melvin's wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time.

Melvin was born in Owosso, Michigan on July 30, 1931, the son of Orville and Florence (Mullins) Morse. He graduated from Durand High School with the class of 1949. Melvin married Edna Bates on April 13, 1957 in Corunna. He worked for General Motors as a Tin Smith in Flint at the Metal Center. Melvin enjoyed taking trips on his motorcycle out west and going camping and canoeing with his boys. One of his greatest joys in life was spending time with his two grandsons. He resided all of his life in the Corunna area.

He is survived by his wife Edna Morse; four sons; Terry Morse of Wyoming; Robert Morse of Vernon; Tim and Mary Jo Morse of Owosso; Gregg and Teresa Morse of Owosso; two grandsons Beau and Philip Morse; one sister Donna Bobick; one brother Lloyd Morse and several nieces and nephews

He was predeceased by his parents and one brother Wendell Morse.
