Michael Bunting

Michael Duane Bunting, age 62, of Elwell, MI passed away Thursday, July 30, 2015 at his home.

A Memorial Service will be held at Wheatland Music Organization 7251 50th Avenue, Remus, Michigan on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 2:00 P.M with Pastor Dave Jewel officiating.

Michael was born in Barryton, Michigan on April 17, 1953, the son of Marvin and Mona (Bentley) Bunting. He resided most of his life in St. Louis and Elwell. Michael and Deborah were married on October 28, 2005 and together for 25 years.

Michael liked fishing, camping and hunting. He was on the Board of Directors for Wheatland Music Organization which he really enjoyed. Michael was the owner of Buntings Hardwood Floors. He was a talented woodworker and very proud of his woodshop.

He is survived by his wife Deborah Bunting of Elwell, MI, son Jeremy and Heather Bunting of Sumner, MI, daughter Natasha and Casey Wilson of Holland, MI, daughter Dezaray Phelps & Josh McPherson of Ithaca, MI, mother Mona Bunting of Barryton, MI, 4 grandchildren; Eric Bunting, Tanisha Davila, Nicholas Wilson and Trent Bylsma, a great-grandson Javier Bentencourt. Michael was preceded in death by his father and his 2 brothers; Marvin Bunting, Jr. and Mark Bunting.
