Michael Milledge

Michael James Milledge, age 26, of Ashley, MI died Friday, December 11th, 2009 at Gratiot Medical Center, as the result of an auto accident. Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie Chapel on Wednesday, December 16th at 2:00 P.M. Rev. Thomas Pumford will officiate. Burial will take place at Lakefield Twp. Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 6-8 PM and Tuesday, December 15, 2009 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie Chapel.

Michael was born in Carson City, Michigan on June 28, 1983, the son of Dennis Lee and Sherry Kay (Johnson) Milledge. He graduated from Ashley High School Class of 2002. He was a lifelong resident of Ashley. He had worked at Lear in Alma, Davis Machine Shop in Ithaca, and also worked at Ashley Salvage for his father. He loved animals, remote control cars, fishing, hunting, knife collecting, and snowmobiling. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church Wheeler, MI .

He is survived by his parents Dennis and Sherry Milledge of Ashley, MI; brother Dennis and Dianne Milledge II of Bannister, MI; niece Kylee Jean Milledge of Bannister, MI; nephew Jordan Lee Milledge of Bannister, MI; grandmother Adelia Milledge of Merrill, MI. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Roy Milledge, great grandparents Walter & Emma Gath, and a brother Jason Milledge
