Michael Rhyndress

Michael Alan Rhyndress, age 45 of Ovid, MI, passed away Friday, July 26, 2019 at his home.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Bath American Legion, 5480 Clark Road, Bath Township, MI 48808 on Saturday, August 17, 2019 from 4 - 7 P.M.

Michael was born in Williamston, MI on January 29, 1974.  Mike married Shannon Elliott on July 29, 2001 in East Lansing, MI.  Mike resided most of his life in the Lansing and Bath area.

Mike worked in Culinary Services at Michigan State University for over 10 years.  He was an avid sports fan, especially for the Detroit Lions.  Mike loved to cook and try out new recipes at home.  He also liked to fish and travel with his family on vacations.  Mike actively practiced Seventh-day Adventist religion the entirety of his life.

He is survived by his wife Shannon Rhyndress of Ovid, MI; sons: Anthony Elliott and Austin Rhyndress both of East Lansing, MI; daughters: Ariana and Cheyenne Rhyndress both of Ovid, MI; mother Janet Bailey of Okemos, MI; mother-in-law Patty and Kevin Lott of Lansing, MI; sisters: Heidi and Hayley; and brothers: Jordan and Ryan.  Mike was preceded in death by his father that raised him, Archie Peterson and his grandmother Emma Rhyndress.
