Michael Young

Michael Lynn Young, age 52, of Alma, MI, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Mid-Michigan Medical Center, Alma, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis, MI, at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, with Pastor Henry Lehman officiating.  Burial will follow at Payne Cemetery, Gratiot County, MI.  Visitation will be held 12:00-1:00 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Michael was born in Carson City, MI, on August 31, 1969, the son of Gerald Orman and Eleanor Anna (Flower) Young.  He graduated from Fulton High School with the class of 1988.

Michael worked at Robinson Industries in Coleman for the last 2 1/2 years.  He was very artistic and enjoyed painting.  He liked to ride bicycle and take care of his fish.  Michael was a kind man who enjoyed his friends.     Over the past few years, God's redemptive work became increasingly obvious in Michael's life.  He attended Agape Christian Fellowship in Farwell.
