Michelle Marie Waters

    Michelle Marie Waters, age 59, of St. Louis, MI, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at her home.

     A cremation has taken place and, at Michelle's request, a private memorial service will be held at a later date.

     Michelle was born in Saginaw, Michigan on November 12, 1963, the daughter of Paul Eugene and Mary Ann (Micsak) Hopkins. She graduated from Merrill High School with the class of 1982 and earned her RN degree from the University of North Georgia. She was a nurse in Georgia and Michigan for many years.

     Michelle loved her family. She enjoyed animals, especially her dogs and walking them in the woods. She made many crafts; decorating her home with her handiwork. Michelle loved people and was always there for others, sharing advice and helping as needed. She was always taking pictures of family events and liked sharing them.

     Michelle is survived by her sons: James Waters of Houston, TX, and Ryan Waters of Denver, CO; parents Paul and Mary Hopkins of Merrill, MI, brothers: Richard (Kathy) Hopkins of Perrinton, and Doug (Tracie) Hopkins of Merrill; sister Paula Clay of GA, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Bob Hopkins.
