Mikel Strieff

Mikel Jay Strieff, age 29, of Roseville, Michigan formerly of Ovid, Michigan passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Houghton Chapel, Ovid, Michigan. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Fairfield Township Cemetery, Fairfield Township, Michigan.
Mikel was born in Lansing, Michigan on April 1, 1992, the son of Kevin and Molly (Ramos) Strieff. He graduated from Ovid Elsie High School with the class of 2010. In 2007 he was a state champion with the Potterville cross country team.
Mike enjoyed golfing, skateboarding, watching movies and playing video games. He was an avid Michigan State & LA Rams fan. He also enjoyed attending Detroit Piston games. Mike liked shopping for himself and others and liked collecting shoes. He loved spending time with his friends and family. Mike currently resided in Roseville where he was on his second year of apprenticeship with Mcwire Electric LLC.
He is survived by his father Kevin and Colleen Strieff of Ovid, MI; mother Molly Anderson of Florida; brother and sister-in-law Rich and Jayme Fast of Potterville, MI; sisters: April Anderson and Amanda Anderson; his grandmother Brenda Strieff of Ovid, MI; and his Aunt & Uncle Kristi and Bill Luckhurst of Ovid, MI.  He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his grandfather Harold Strieff, his grandmother Anita Ramos, grandparents Glenn and Estella Huyck and Uncle Gary Huyck.
