Mildred L. "Millie" Brown, age 99, of Corunna, MI passed away Friday, December 23, 2011 at Hospice House of Shiawassee County, Owosso, MI.
There will be no services. Private burial will take place at Pine Tree Cemetery, Corunna, MI.
Mildred was born in Corunna, Michigan on December 4, 1912, the daughter of Oscar and Blanche M. (Raymond) Escott. Millie resided most of her life in Corunna.
Millie had been employed at Motor Wheel of Lansing and Redmond's of Owosso. In 1987 she retired from Pleasant View in Corunna.
She is survived by her daughter Shirley and Gene Sanderson of Corunna, MI, grandson Karl and Teresa Sanderson of Vernon, MI, great grandson Eric Sanderson, great granddaughter Karon and Kurtis Long, great great grandson Koehn Long, 2 sisters; Nina Dassance of Bancroft, MI, Virginia Ruhl of Morrice, MI, and sister-in-law Lela Escott. Millie was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Michael Sanderson and her brother Howard Escott.
