Mildred Turner

Mildred Ann Turner, age 67, of Ashley, MI passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at Ashley Care Center after an enduring battle with scleroderma, and lung cancer. She has gone to be at her heavenly home with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at Ashley United Methodist Church Ashley, MI on Sunday, October 4, 2009 at 2:00 P.M., Pastor Jon Pohl will officiate. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service on Sunday from 1-2 P.M. at the Church.

Mildred was born in Ashley, Michigan on September 10, 1942, the daughter of Peter and Mildred (Tihlarik) Benadick. She graduated from Ashley High School with the class of 1961. She resided most of her life in Ashley. Mildred married Charles R. Turner in Angola, Indiana in 1968. She enjoyed having coffee in the morning with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Charles, one son Michael Turner of Ashley, MI, one granddaughter Madison Lytle, her siblings; Margaret Keller of Ashley, MI, Rita and Pat Cordray of Ashley, MI, Patricia and Jim Wicke of Chapin, MI, Deb and Don Wilson of St. Louis, MI, Peter and Rene Benadick of Crystal, MI, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, three nephews and her brother-in-law Don Keller.
