Millard E. Frederick age 91 of Owosso, Michigan died Wednesday, June 22, 2005 at his home.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 27, 2005 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church Owosso, MI. Rev. Fr. David Fisher will officiate with burial at St. Paul Catholic Cemetery Owosso, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2005 6:30 - 8:00 P.M. and Sunday, June 26, 2005 from 2-8 P.M. Rosary will be prayed on Sunday Evening June 26, 2005 at 5:00 P.M.
Millard was born in Owosso, MI on March 23, 1914 the son Edward and Elizabeth ( Doneth ) Frederick. He resided most of his life in Owosso & Muskegon, Michigan and graduated from Owosso St. Paul's Catholic High School with the class of 1932. Millard married Nora Pearl Cater on June 1, 1936 in Muskegon, MI. She died on May 14, 1988. He worked as a Railroad Engineer. He enjoyed reading and traveling and he loved spending time with his family. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Owosso, MI as well as the Knights of Columbus Owosso Council and the United Transportation Union.
He is survived by his 2 daughters: Sandra Frederick of Owosso, MI, Darlene & Lawrence Morden of Frankfort, MI, 2 grandchildren; Michael Morden of Minneapolis, MN, Millard Morden of Frankfort, MI 2 great grandchildren; Gerald Morden of Boyne Falls, Jennifer Morden of Boyne Falls, sister Madelyn Fricke of Owosso, MI, in-laws Mr. & Mrs Clarence Kearns of Owosso, MI, Joan Cater of Traverse City, MI, many nieces & nephews and special neighbors; The Fords, The Caversons, and The Snells. He is predeceased by his parents, wife, and grandson Jerry Morden.
Memorials may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church or a charity of the donors choice. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel.
