Monica Lynn Sutton

     Monica Lynn Sutton, age 65, of St. Johns, MI, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Hazel I. Findlay Country Manor, St. Johns, MI. 
     Cremation has taken place and a time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 from 5-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie, MI. A Time of Sharing will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Tuesday, at the funeral home.
    Monica was born in Owosso, Michigan on June 26, 1959, the daughter of Lloyed Denzel Sutton and Glenda Jean (Richards) Magers.
     Monica enjoyed ceramics, coloring, and crocheting. She liked cooking and family get-togethers. Her nieces and nephews were the joy of her life and she loved them unconditionally. Monica's faith was very important to her and she loved reading daily devotionals and scripture.  
     She is survived by her mother Glenda "Jean" and David Magers of DeMotte, IN; sisters: Ruth and Arlen McGinnis of Elsie, MI; Lisa and Timothy Daniels of Elsie, MI; Becky and Chris Ishii of California. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Lloyd, her sisters: Lloydine "Maggie" "Marie" Savery and Lorrie Lab.
