Nancy Dunkel

Nancy Eunice (Dershem) Dunkel slipped into her eternal sleep in Zephyrhills, FL, October 20, 2014. Nancy was born June 22, 1942, the daughter of Harold and Louis (Bingham) Dershem. She is survived by her husband Eugene W., 3 sons, Jay of St. Johns, Steven (Judi) Gansevoort, NY, and Rex of Zephyrhills, FL, 1 daughter Nicole of Perrinton, MI, 7 grandchildren; Jessica Dunkel, Tanner and Carson Dunkel, George and Kayleigh Glidden, Corelia and Trevor Dunkel, 1 brother Richard (Sharon) Dershem of St. Johns, 3 sisters; Margaret (Al) McDunnell of Grawn, MI, Marilyn Speer of Elsie, MI, and Phyllis (Alan) Moore of Bannister, MI.

Nancy lived in St. Johns most of her life, raising her family. She drove bus for Clinton County Intermediate School District, and she owned Special Occasions Limo service in St. Johns. In November of 1997 she and Gene moved to Zephyrhills FL. Nancy enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing and cooking for her family and neighbors. While in Florida she held many jobs; she enjoyed the people and the work. She will be missed by many.

A memorial is being planned for April of 2015.
