Nancy Martin-Pacholke

Nancy J. Martin-Pacholke age 62 of DeWitt, MI and formerly of Port Huron, MI, passed away Monday, November 14, 2016, at Sparrow Hospital, Lansing, MI.

Private Family Services will be held at a later date.

Nancy was born in Alma, Michigan on April 4, 1954, the daughter of Frank and Mary (Naffiziger) Martin.  Nancy married Jerry Pacholke on October 30, 1984.

Spending time with her grandchildren and family was very important to her, especially playing games with her grandchildren.  Nancy enjoyed camping, fishing, and volunteered her time at the Soup Kitchen.  She also spent a lot of time reading and studying the word of God.  Nancy worked at Capital Equipment in DeWitt for 15 years. She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, St. Johns, MI.

Nancy is survived by her husband Jerry Pacholke of DeWitt, MI, 2 sons; Jerry Pacholke Jr. of Freeland, MI, Chas and Regina Pacholke of Bruceton Mills, WV, 2 daughters; Dawn and Joe Wazney of Burt, MI, Carol Tappen of Laport, IN, mother Mary Martin of Marysville, MI, 8 grandchildren; Stephanie, Nicole, Scotty, Jonathon, Jacob, Jaclyn, Brendon and Colton, 5 great-granddaughters; Riley, Jordan, Roselyn, Skylar and Emily, sister Kay and Steve Silk of Port Huron, MI, brother Thomas and Audrey Martin of Marysville, MI, sister Jeri and Kevin Bellhorn of Bay City, MI. Nancy was preceded in death by her father Frank Martin.
