Nancy Munson

Nancy Joanne Munson, age 72, of St. Louis, MI passed away Monday, September 22, 2014 at Mid Michigan Medical Center in Alma, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis, MI on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Alma, Michigan. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 from 5-7 P.M. and for an hour prior to the funeral service on Thursday at the funeral home.

Nancy was born in Alma, Michigan on May 20, 1942, the daughter of Ora and Grace (Wolfe) Miller. She graduated from Alma High School with the class of 1960. Nancy married Russell VanHorn on March 17, 1978; he passed away on July 14, 2001. She married Gene Munson on October 4, 2002; he passed away on March 26, 2006. Nancy worked as a bookkeeper for Gratiot Equipment in Ithaca and for Giant Supermarket in Alma.

She is survived by her 2 brothers; Ronald Miller of Alma, MI, Donald and Sabina Miller of Alma, MI, granddaughter Sabrina and Earl Kirk of Alma, MI, nephews; Donald Patrick Miller of South Carolina, and Michael Lee Miller of Alma, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 husbands.
