Nancy Royal

Nancy Ann Royal, age 77, of Durand, Michigan died Thursday, September 1st, 2011 at her residence.

Memorial Service at Smith Family Funeral Homes Jennings-Lyons Chapel Owosso, MI on Wednesday, September 7th at 2:00 P.M. Visitation will be held on Wednesday 1:00 P.M. till the time of services. Rev. John Walworth will officiate.

Nancy was born in Owosso, Michigan on October 5, 1933, the daughter of Archie Edison and Pauline (Fritzler) Helsel.

She graduated from Durand High School then she served her country in the US Navy. She then attended Mr. David School of Cosmetology and recieved her cosmetology licence. Nancy had worked at Johnson Control in Owosso until it closed and she was a hairdresser for many years in this area. She was employed at VGs in Owosso and Connollys in Durand. Nancy enjoyed knitting, and crocheting, she also liked to work in her yard and roller skating. She was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles.

She is survived by, 2 daughters, Paula and Doug Reid of Owosso, MI; Debbra and James Roe of Roscommon, MI; 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchldren.

She was predeceased by her parents.
