Nina Olney

Nina Ellen Olney, age 82, of Ithaca, MI, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019, at her home.

Burial service at Richland Township Cemetery, Vestaburg, Michigan on Monday, January 14, 2019 at 1:00 P.M.

Nina was born in Alma, Michigan on July 18, 1936, the daughter of Roscoe and Flora (Fockler) Jerome.  She graduated from Alma High School. On December 24, 1965 she married Lester Charles Olney in Delta Township, Michigan. Lester predeceased her on October 21, 2016.  She was a homemaker and had worked for Schnepp's Nursing Home in St. Louis until her retirement. Nina enjoyed working in her garden and especially with her flowers.

She is survived by her daughter Vickie Hilbert of Ithaca, MI; 2 sons: Mike and Gloria Wolfgang Crystal, MI; Duane Wolfgang Jr. Mt. Pleasant, MI; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, 2 sisters and 8 brothers; she is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Nina was predeceased by her parents, husband, daughter, Jackie, 2 grandchildren, 2 brothers.
