Noel Wilson

Noel Francis Wilson, age 81, of St. Louis, MI died Monday, October 26, 2009 at his home.

Noel was born in Sturgis, KY on July 7, 1928, the son of Harry and Fatima (Straker) Wilson. He graduated from Sturgis High School in Kentucky. He earned his Masters Degree in Education from Central Michigan University.

Noel married Sally Barten on June 21, 1953. Noel had resided in St. Louis for the last 47 years. He retired from St. Louis Schools after 32 years in Education. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife Sally Wilson of St. Louis, MI, daughter Lynette and Charles French of Chicago, IL, 2 sons; Kevin and Donna Wilson of Marshall, TX, Barten and Marsha Wilson of Shepherd, MI, 3 grandchildren; Bethany White of Chicago, IL, Garrett French of Columbia, MS, Nicholas Wilson of Shepherd, MI, and half brother Cecil and Billie Wilson of Henderson, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents.
