Nona Tryon

Nona Dale Tryon age 73 of St. Louis, Michigan died Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at Gratiot Medical Center, Alma, Michigan.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel St. Louis, MI on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 2:00 PM. Burial will be held at Jasper Township Cemetery Jasper Township, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2, 2008 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M.

Nona was born in St. Louis, Michigan on January 28, 1935 the daughter of Pete and Elrosa ( Anderson ) Saunders. She was a life long resident of St. Louis, MI and graduated from St. Louis High School. Nona married Wesley Tryon in June of 1958. He died on October 28, 2007. Nona was a homemaker. She enjoyed camping, crafts, and spending time with her family. Nona was a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge.

She is survived by 7 children; Roxann Davis of St. Louis, MI, Debra & Glenn Pelton of Mio, MI, Tim & Vicki Tryon of Findlay, OH, Tammy Reeves of Alma, MI, Troy Tryon & Lynda Mitchell of Crystal, MI, Jodi Caroland of Auburn Hills, MI, Catrina Tryon of Elm Hall, MI, her mother Elrosa Heinrich of St. Louis, MI, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, sister Fran Roth of Milford, MI, brother Larry Saunders of Jackson, MI, and sister in-law Bonnie Saunders of St. Louis, MI. She is predeceased by her father, husband, and brother Donny Saunders.

Memorials may be made to Schnepps Activity Fund, St. Louis, MI. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel.
