Norbert R. Feldpaush died March 18, 2009 at the age of 92. He was born May 8, 1916 the son of William C. and Amelia (Fink) Feldpausch and lived most of his life in Fowler. He was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church and retired from Federal Mogul in 1977. On July 15, 1941 he married Juliana L. Thelen and she preceded him in death on August 30, 2005.
Surviving are three daughters, Janet (Ricky) Hart of St. Johns, Karen (Dave) Irrer of Westphalia and Beth (Steve) Thomas of Assonet, MA, three sons, Dennis (Carol) Feldpausch of St. Johns, William (Marlene) Feldpausch of Orofino, ID, Stan (Deb) Feldpausch of Fowler, 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, one sister Doris Klein, one brother, Lester (Rosy) Feldpausch, one sister in law, Pauline Feldpausch, daughter-in-law Donna Halfmann and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juliana, his parents, son, Mark Feldpausch and brother, Carl Feldpausch.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church with The Rev. Fr. Dennis Howard officiating, burial at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Goerge Chapel of Osgood Funeral Homes, 11112 W. Ionia, Fowler, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 3 and 8 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed in the form of donations to the Hospice House of Mid-Michigan.
