Norbert John "Bud" Laskosky, Jr.

      Norbert John "Bud" Laskosky, Jr., age 79, of St. Louis, MI, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2022, at his home with his family by his side.

     Cremation will take place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

     Norbert was born in Lansing, Michigan on August 28, 1942, the son of Norbert John and Mary Lou (Hudson) Laskosky. Bud graduated from Sexton High School, Lansing, with the class of 1960. On November 24, 1962, Bud married Shirley Ann Potter at Valley Farms in Lansing. They have been blessed with 59 years of marriage.

          Bud retired as a Welding Technician from General Motors after 35 and 1/2 years of service. He enjoyed Fishing, watching Michigan State, grilling out and scratch off tickets. Bud loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. 

      He is survived by his wife Shirley of St. Louis, MI; son Todd Laskosky of Brant, MI; daughter Tammara and Randy Nelson of Ovid, MI; son Timothy Laskosky of TX; daughter Tina Barnes of Ithaca, MI; daughter Tonja McBrien and Herb Russell of Brant, MI; daughter Tracy Huss of St. Johns, MI; 15 grandchildren: Brit (Zach), Tori (Chris), Dustin, Kaden, Lyndsey (Danny), Andy (Brandi), Devin (Ashley), Stacy, Katelynn, Austin, Ian, Jeffery, Amie (Kevin), Jessica (Sean), and Jamie (Dylan). He is also survived by great- grandchildren: Brayden, Brendon, Brently, Izayah, Aribella, Jojo, Londynn, Brinley, Averi, Morrigan, Tessa, Lucas, and Crew; and brother Bruce Laskosky of Grand Rapids, MI: and sisters: Vicki Snuffer of Ithaca, MI; and Terrie Johnson of Chandler, AZ.  He was preceded in death by his parents, mother and father in law Louise and Donald Potter, and special friend Don Pierce.
