Norman Richard "Dick" Ketchum

     Norman Richard Ketchum, age 79, of Bannister, MI, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at his home.

     Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie, MI, at 12:00 P.M. on Monday, February 7, 2022, with Pastor Andy Goodrich officiating.  Burial will take place at Ford Cemetery,  Elba Township, MI. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

     Norman was born in Stanton, Michigan on April 9, 1942, the son of Isaac Norman and Malena Mae (Mabie) Ketchum.

     Dick was a carpenter and enjoyed woodworking, building and remodeling.  Dick loved fishing and hunting.  He loved having his family all together and spending time with them.  To Dick it was always "God, Family, Country".  He proudly served his country in the United States Airforce. 

    He is survived by his children: Lynda and Tim Ketchum, Scott and Laurie Ketchum, Richard Ketchum, and Rodney and Sherry Ketchum; siblings: Nancy Kingery, Madia Brown, Daniel and Michelle Ketchum, and Debra Carpenter; grandchildren: Rodney Ketchum, Brandon and Summer Ketchum, Roger Johnson; and great-grandchildren: Hannah and Journie; and many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, son Rick Ketchum, and wife Barbara.
