Olga Rogers

     Olga Rogers, age 76, of Elsie, MI, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Burcham Hills, East Lansing, MI.

     Per Olga's wishes a cremation has taken place and a memorial serice will be held at Church of the Living Word, Ovid, MI, on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at 1:00 P.M., with Pastor Audie Clairmont officiating.  Burial will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI at a later date.

     Olga was born in Germany on April 3, 1946, the daughter of Joseph and Julia (Truchan) Zalensas.  She graduated from Bridgeport High School with the class of 1964.  She worked for Wal-Mart, St. Johns for 21 years.     Olga was an avid Michigan State and Detroit Tigers Fan.  She enjoyed making crafts.  Olga was a generous lady and supported many causes.  As a devoted Christian, she loved to read her Bible and was a member of Church of the Living Word.

     She is survived by her children: Bobbie (Jim Gallagher) Ormes, Chris (Tori Huss) Ormes, Daniel (Sue) Skiendziel, and Randy (Melissa) Skiendziel; eleven grandchildren: Jack (Sarah) VanWagoner II, Wesley (Lauren) VanWagoner, Chloe Thomsen, Caleb Ormes, Keigan Ormes, Brayden Ormes, Arik (Kaitlin) Skiendziel, Stefani Skiendziel, McKenzie Skiendziel, Jordan Swims, and William Swims; eleven great-grandchildren: Kennedie, Shaeleigh, Jack III, Aaliyah, Alaina, Naomi, Paisley, Remi, Dylin, Mia, and one more on the way; two sisters: Zita (Clarence) Giacoletti, and Donna (Greg) Jones; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in by death her parents, and husband Gerald Rogers.
