Oma Wallace

Oma Irene Wallace age 98 of Owosso, formerly of Ovid, Michigan died on Thursday, November 25, 2004 at her home.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 29, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-8 P.M. with family present 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Burial will take place at Middlebury Township Cemetery in Ovid, Michigan.
Oma was born in Ovid, Michigan on November 3, 1906 the daughter of Edward & Agnes ( Buck ) Smith. She resided most of her life in Ovid, Michigan. In October of 1936 she married Everett James Wallace in Flint, Michigan. James died in July of 1960. Oma had worked for 36 years as a winder for Universal Electric in Owosso before her retirement.
She is survived by 1 son, William Lee & Carolyn Wallace of Owosso, Michigan, 1 sister, Neva A. Eisner of Howell, Michigan, 1 brother, Clyde Smith of Sarasota, Florida, a sister in law, Kate Smith of Perry, Michigan, Many grandchildren & great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, 1 grandchild, 2 brothers, & 2 sisters.
Memorials may be made to Oma Wallace Burial Fund C/o Neva Eisner. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel.
