Otis Erwin Moiles age 94 of Owosso, Michigan died Sunday, November 18, 2007 at Shiawassee County Medical Care Facility, Corunna, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel Corunna, MI on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at 11:00 AM. Dr. Robert Johnson will officiate with burial at Pine Tree Cemetery Corunna, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 19, 2007 from 6-8 P.M. and Tuesday, November 20, 2007 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M.

Otis was born in Owosso, Michigan on July 12, 1913 the son of Harry and Jennie ( Gurden ) Moiles. He resided most of his life in Corunna, Michigan and graduated from Corunna High School. Otis married Joyce Edwards on August 31, 1946 in Corunna, Michigan. Otis served in the Army/Air Force during World War II. He was a local business owner of Moiles Yamaha for 20 years. Otis liked to tell stories, enjoyed fishing, bowling, baseball, and he was a devout Christian. God, Family, and Country were very important to him. He loved sports and going to Corunna basketball, and football games. Otis was a member of Countryside Gospel Chapel and the VFW Post #4005 in Corunna, Michigan.

He is survived by his wife Joyce Moiles of Owosso, MI, 6 sons; Derril & Jan Moiles of Corunna, MI, Duane Moiles of Corunna, MI, Donald Moiles of Corunna, MI, Dale Moiles of Carterville, GA, Darrin Moiles & Lisa Buchholz, Daniel Moiles & Ward Delbridge, 5 daughters; Darlene & Allan Lecureux of Owosso, MI, Denise & Vern Anderson of St. Joseph, MI, Delaine & Anthony Hewitt of England, Doreen & Kirk Brookins of Elsie, MI, Darla & Rory Spaleny of Buckley, MI, grandchildren; Troy & Tina Moiles, Todd & Stacey Moiles, Shelly Moiles & Roger Cummings, Trista & Shawn Watts, Desiree Holland, Tracy Lecureux, Julie Dudek, Brian Lecureux, Melissa & Robby Kimsel, Jill Lecureux, Liza Anderson, Jeff Moiles, Rita Moiles, Janet Moiles, Amy & Gary Herald, Eric Truax, Travis Brookins, Jerimiah, Brookins, Jessica Brookins, Kayleen Brookins, Justin & Brandi Spaleny & Chris Spaleny both of whom are serving in Iraq, Heather Spaleny, Brandy Harris, Danielle Neeley, Tonya Linton, Ashley Corneau, 19 great grandchildren, 4 brothers; J.C. Moiles, Victor & Evelyn Moiles, Eugene & Joyce Moiles, Lyle & Ardella Moiles, 2 sisters; Leora Bowker, Barbara & Allen Verrier, and sister-in-law Alvina Moiles He is predeceased by his parents, 2 brothers; Loycie Moiles, Carol Moiles, sister Leona Evoy, and 2 brothers-in-law; Vern Bowker & Phil Evoy.

Memorials may be made to VFW, Countryside Gospel Chapel, or the Shiawassee Medical Care Facility Auxiliary Fund. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel.
