Ottilia Bohil

Ottilia Agnes "Tillie" Bohil, age 94, of Elsie, MI, passed away  Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Divine Life Assisted Living Center, Haslett, MI.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Cyril's Catholic Church, Bannister, MI, at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, September 3, 2021, with Rev. Fr. Bill Gruden presiding.  Burial will take place at Ford Cemetery, Gratiot County, MI.  Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral mass.

Ottilia was born in Chesaning, Michigan on June 26, 1927, the daughter of Gasper and Anna (Melicharek) Pacek.  On June 18, 1949 she married Anthony "Tony" Bohil at St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Charles, Michigan.  Tony passed away on January 22, 1991.

Tillie was very social and loved being with family and friends. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and farm life. She loved reading recipes and cookbooks and enjoyed baking Christmas cookies and Kolaches.  She loved family time and pontoon rides at the cottage.  Tillie and Tony looked forward to polka dances with friends.  She was a member of St. Cyril's Catholic Church and the Altar Society.

She is survived by her daughters: Diane Cranmer of Lansing, MI; Nancy Irons of Lansing, MI; sons: Joel Bohil of DeWitt, MI; Corey Bohil and Rosamaria Tovar of Orlando, FL.  She is also survived by grandchildren: Rosario, Lucia, and Harrison Bohil, Anthony Irons, Holly (David) Fosdick, Kyle and Shaun Cranmer, and great-grandchildren: Nolan and Miles Fosdick.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Tony, and seven siblings: Rose Pasak, Mary Kuk, Anna Rau, Louis Pacek, Frank Pacek, Anthony Pacek, and Dominick "Buck" Pacek and son-in-law David Irons.
