Pastor Richard L. McLane age 73 of Alma, Michigan died Thursday, August 2, 2007.

Funeral Services will be held at Parkside Assembly of God St. Louis, Michigan on Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at 11:00 AM. Dr. Larry Hunt will officiate with burial at Wright Cemetery, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 5, 2007 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. and on Monday, August 6, 2007 from 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel.

Richard was born in Olivet, Michigan on February 4, 1934 the son of Owen and Marguerite ( Patrick ) McLane. He graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Divinity. Richard married Deloris Wolever on May 24, 1958 in Lansing, Michigan. He currently pastored at Parkside Assembly of God in St. Louis, MI. He had also pastored in Alanson, MI and Hillsdale, MI and had been a missionary in Veracruz, Mexico. He loved his family and grandchildren. Richard served as the President of the Ministerial Association in St. Louis, MI.

He is survived by his wife Deloris L. McLane of Alma, MI, 4 children; Richard & Lori McLane of Warsaw, Poland, Karen & David VanderHart of Alma, MI, Susan & Kenneth Savage III of Byron Center, MI, Steven & Mandy McLane of Alma, MI, 11 grandchildren; Andy, Josh, Kaylee, , Elizabeth, Hannah, Rachel, Jacob, Amy, Madison, Caiden, and Graham and 10 brothers and sisters. He is predeceased by his parents, 3 brothers, and 1 sister.

Memorials may be made to Parkside Assembly of God. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel.
