Patricia Christensen

Patricia Ann Christensen, age 80, of St. Louis, MI, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at her home.

In following Pat's wishes, a cremation has taken place and a memorial gathering will be held at a later date.

Patricia was born in Alma, Michigan on August 28, 1940, the daughter of John Russell and Mildred M. (Derry) Woodcock. She graduated from St. Louis High School with the class of 1958. Pat was a lifelong teacher. She retired from Vestaburg Public Schools after 31 years of teaching.

Patricia loved traveling. She enjoyed music and singing, her favorites were the music of the 50's and 60's. Pat was a Rhodes Scholar and loved teaching others. Her love of others influenced many to follow her path into education. She dearly loved her family and enjoyed her time with them.

Patricia is survived by nephews: Bruce, John, Robert, and Matthew Woodcock; great-nieces:  Michelle, Mary, and Mindi; and a great nephew Mark (Nicole); great-great nieces and nephews: Cora, Ashlyn, Gavin, Emma, Kaylie, Ryder, Andi Sue, Bella, Brooke, Logen, Jacob, Kaylee, and Olivia; and great-great-great nephew Matthew.  She is also survived by close friends and caregivers: Davey (Lynn) Lassen, and Kim (Dwane) Carroll.  Pat was preceded in death by her parents, son Chris Christensen, brothers: John and Robert Woodcock, sister Elaine Gross, niece Tammie Woodcock, and great-great nephew Matteo.
