Patricia Machala

Patricia B. Machala age 86, of Elsie, MI, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at Sparrow Health Systems, Lansing, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie, MI, on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 3:00 P.M., with Pastor Rob Nystrom officiating.  Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Elsie, MI at a later date.  Visitation will be held on Friday, October 13, 2017 from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the funeral service at the funeral home.

Patricia was born in St. Johns, MI on October 14, 1930, the daughter of Archie and Beatrice (Sanderson) Saxton. She graduated from Elsie High School.  Patricia married Orlo Mead; Orlo passed away December 19, 1973. She married William Machala; Muck passed away in 2010.

Patricia worked many years at Ralph's Bridal Shop in Owosso and at Levey's Jewelry Store in Elsie.  She loved reading, bird watching, going to the beauty shop and talking to her children daily. She was known as precious momma to many people.  Spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends meant the world to her. She was a past member of the Elsie United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her children; Chris Mead, Greg and Shari Mead, Vicki and Troy Delcamp, Neil Mead, and Brad and Carla Mead. She is survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren and her special friend and hairdresser Patty Peck.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, and her brothers; Jerry Saxton and Dick Saxton.
