Patricia Lee "Pat" Yott, age 78, of Corunna, MI passed away Monday, January 31, 2011 at her home.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Corunna Chapel Corunna, MI on Friday, February 4, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. Rev. Ray A. Strawser II will officiate. Burial will take place at Pine Tree Cemetery, Corunna. Visitation will be held on Thursday February 3, 2011 from 2-8 PM with family present 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Smith Family Funeral Homes.

Patricia was born in Corunna, Michigan on October 27, 1932, the daughter of Lawrence W. and Gertrude D. (Bixby) Tinklepaugh. Patricia resided all of her life in Corunna and was a 1950 graduate of Corunna High School. Bernie and Patricia were married on October 6, 1967 at St. John's United Church of Christ, Owosso. Patricia worked as an Office Manager for different companies over the years, retiring in 1994. She loved to work in her flower gardens, worked on family history and was a history buff. Patricia was a fourth generation of John I. Tinklepaugh, pioneer settler of Shiawassee County in 1831. She was a member of the P.T.O. of Louise Peacock School of Corunna, member of the Corunna Band Boosters, past president of the Shiawassee County Genealogical Society, member of the Shiawassee Historical Society and served for 15 years as a member of the Corunna Library Board.

She is survived by and her husband Bernie Yott of Corunna, MI, son Eric and Debbie Yott of Montrose, MI, son Wade and Tara Yott of Portland, MI, daughter Lori and George Parks of Ithaca, MI, step-son Jerry and Vicki Yott of Arizona, step-daughter Carol and Charles Simpson of Texas, step-daughter Brandy Wilson of Flint, MI, 7 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 2 sisters; Betty and Herbert Miller of Mt. Pleasant, MI, and Yvonne Herek of Florida. Patricia is also survived by special friends; Eva Bliss, Mary Lou Ellis and Judy Mihalik and her caregivers Fae, Rhonda and Theresa. She was preceded in death by her son Lee, step-son David and her parents.
