Patricia Ruth "Pat" Zank, age 79, of Alma, MI passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital, Grand Rapids, MI.

Private Family Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Louis, MI with Pastor Henry Kubin officiating.  Burial will take place at Vinewood Cemetery, Edmore, MI.

Patricia was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on October 14, 1936, the daughter of Arthur and Doris (Cole) Henry.  She married Eugene Zank on June 5, 1954 in Edmore, MI.  Pat resided most of her life in Alma.

Pat loved crocheting, knitting and quilt making.  Family meant everything to her and she loved to spend time with them.  She devoted her life to caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Her church family at Eastminster Presbyterian Church in Alma was very important and she enjoyed her ladies sewing group. Pat will be remembered for her love of helping others.  She also enjoyed her Thursday lunches with friends at Petticoat Junction.

She is survived by her husband Eugene Zank of Alma, MI, daughter Kathy and Dennis Norkooli of Alma, MI, 2 sons; Richard and Linda Zank of Alma, MI, Paul Zank and Elizabeth  Anaya of Wheeler, MI, 6 grandchildren; Alesha and Doug Hooks of Breckenridge, MI, Robert and Lori Kade of Edmore, MI, Jennifer and Joseph Haliwill of Riverdale, MI, Danielle and Matt Jones of Kissimee, FL, Hannah Zank of Ithaca, MI, Holly Zank of Ithaca, MI, 11 great-grandchildren; Joseph Stahl, Hannah Hooks, Brandon Kade, Joie Kade, Cadden Zank, Bailey Davenport, McKenzie Davenport, Zander Haliwill, Kaitlyn Kade, Zoie Haliwill and Skylar Jones, sister Lucille and Phil Dunlop of Plainwell, MI, and brother Ronald and Charlotte Billbrey of Lebanon, TN.  Pat was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter Joie Lynn Kade, 4 brothers; Maynard, Hank, Joe and Danny, and 2 sisters; Darlene and Alice.
