Paul John Ladiski Sr., 89, of Elsie, MI, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021, at Sparrow Hospital, Lansing, MI.
Due to the covid crisis, there will be no public services. Burial will take place at Mt. Rest Cemetery, St. Johns, MI.
Paul was born in St. Johns, MI on June 11, 1931, the son of Victor and Augustina (Doganyoba) Ladiski. On February 27, 1954, Paul married Joan M. Brabender at St. Cyril's Catholic Church, Bannister, MI. They were married for 41 years prior to her passing on September 20, 1995.
Paul worked at Federal Mogul for 38 years, retiring in July of 1993. He resided most of his life in the Elsie Area and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Ovid.
Paul loved listening and dancing to Polka music. He could never be late for the Molly-B Polka Party Show RFD on TV. He enjoyed caring for his vegetable and flower gardens. He liked talking about his fruit trees and giving away what he grew. He also enjoyed woodworking crafts and bird watching.
Paul is survived by his special friend and companion, Doris Kibby, son Paul (Gesele) Ladiski of Grand Blanc, daughter Donna (James) Plowman of St. Johns, grandsons: Craig Plowman and Paul Ladiski III; step grandson Jason Burnette, sisters: Mary Cerny and Mildred Chapko; and many loving nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, wife Joan, 3 brothers: John, Frank, and Pete; and sister Betty.
