Paul LeRoy

Paul LeRoy, age 90, of Oakley, MI passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at Ovid Healthcare Center.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Owosso, MI. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 17, 2009 from 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel, Owosso, MI.

Paul was born in Perry, Michigan on April 23, 1919, the son of Arthur and Clara (Adams) LeRoy. He resided most of his life in the Owosso-Perry-Laingsburg area. Paul married Mary Ellis on September 28, 1936 in Owosso, and she preceded him in death on January 29, 2007. Paul retired from Motor Wheel as a Dye Fitter and then owned and operated Critter Control in the Owosso area.

He is survived by his children; Jack and Cathy LeRoy of New Mexico, Judy and Robert Humbert of North Carolina and Trudy and Mike Jodway of Owosso, MI, 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and sister Ruth and L.V. Ellis of Florida. In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by his brothers, Virgil, Clarence, Wayne, and Verlyn, and his sister Alda.
