Paul Turland

Paul Robert Turland age 28 of Alma, Michigan died Saturday, October 14, 2006 at his home.

Funeral Services will be held at Trinity Baptist Church, Alma, MI on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Brad Pellish will officiate with burial at Riverside Cemetery Alma, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 16, 2006 and Tuesday, October 17, 2006 from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M.

Paul was born in Midland, Michigan on April 16, 1978 the son of Robert Lee and Bettie Rhonda ( Austin ) Turland. He attended Bay City Schools until the age of 8 and then Alma Public Schools. Paul married Jamie Spitler on May 4, 2002 at the Ithaca Church of God. He was employed at Davey Tree Expert Co. for the last 5 years. Paul enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved spending time with his son and he was a wonderful husband and father. Paul was a member of Member of Trinity Baptist Church, Alma, MI.

He is survived by wife, Jamie Turland of Alma, MI, son Brandon Turland of Alma, MI, parents Bob & Bettie Turland of Alma, MI, parents-in-law James & Cathy Feighner of Perrinton, MI, Les Spitler of Alma, MI 1 sister Leanne & Mike Lombard of Alma, MI, 2 grandmothers; Mildred Turland of Lupton, MI, Bertha Austin of Auburn, MI, grandparents-in-law; Arlene Chapko of St. Louis, MI, Mike Zsigray of Breckenridge, MI, brother-in-law: Steven Spitler & Sarah Sinicropi of Alma, MI, and numerous aunt, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by 2 grandfathers, Albert Austin and Harry Turland.

Memorials may be made to to the family or to the American Cancer Society. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel.
