Paulette Sue Anderson

      Paulette Sue Anderson, age 73, of Elsie, MI, passed away Friday, February 7, 2025, at Hazel I. Findlay Country Manor, St. Johns with her family by her side.
      A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Cyril's Catholic Church, Bannister, MI, at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 13, 2025. Burial will take place at Ford Cemetery, Elba Township, MI. Visitation will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie, MI, on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, from 2-8 P.M. with the family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M., with a Rosary being prayed at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
       Paulette was born in St. Johns, Michigan on February 6, 1952, the daughter of John and Mildred K. (Karlik) Hrncharik. She graduated from Ovid-Elsie High School with the Class of 1970. On February 12, 1972, Paulette married John C. Anderson at St. Cyril's Catholic Church in Bannister, Michigan. They have been blessed with fifty-three years of marriage. Paulette and John have been members of Holy Family Catholic Church, Ovid, Michigan for many years.
      Paulette loved her family and always looked forward to spending time with them. She enjoyed camping with the N-SSA Muzzleloader Club. She loved to knit and crochet. Many children were blessed by the gift of one of her blankets. The family requests that anyone who has received a baby blanket made by Paulette would bring it with them to display her handiwork.
      She is survived by her husband John, sons: Scott (Dawn) Anderson of Ovid, MI; and Steven (Kaitlyn) Anderson of Abilene, TX; daughter-in-law Corinna Anderson of Midland, MI; seven grandchildren: Brianna Murray, Amber Anderson, Michael Mosley, Kyle Mosley, Emillie Anderson, Parker Anderson, and Walker Anderson; three sisters: Janet (Bill) Archer, Lynette (Jon) Miller, and Pamela (Kirk) Wahlstrom; and many nieces and nephews.
