Paulette Porubsky

Paulette Christine Porubsky, age 62, of Bannister, MI passed away Friday, December 9th, 2011 at Sparrow Hospital, Lansing, MI.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie Chapel on Wednesday, December 14th at 11:00 A.M. , Mr. Thomas Bradley will officiate. Burial will take place at Ford Cemetery Gratiot County, MI. Visitation will be held on Monday 6-8 P.M. and on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie chapel.

Paulette was born in Owosso, Michigan on September 5, 1949, the daughter of David Robert and Marjorie Beatrice Rodgers. She graduated from St. Johns High School.

On July 11, 1987 she married Joseph Porubsky in Eureka, Michigan. She worked at Tech Smith in Okemos, Michigan and enjoyed fishing, hunting, crocheting. She resided most of her life in Bannister, she was a member of the Shiawassee County Kennell Club.

Paulette is survived by: husband, Joseph Porubsky of Bannister, MI; 1 daughter Shannon and Steve Chapko of Elsie, MI; 2 sons, Eric Fowler and fiancé, Monica McClain, of Madison, NE. David Fowler and fiancé, Andrea Kuhn, of Saint Charles, MI; stepdaughter, Jessica Porubsky of St. Johns, MI; step son Joseph and Tammie Porubsky of Elsie, MI; grandchildren Caleb, Kendsey, Keili, Eric II, Evan, Ian, Merrick, Mylea, Morgan, Amanda, Stephen, Tyler, Melanie, Conner, Kyle, Olivia, Michael, Beth, Shallin, great grandchildren; Gabe, Morgan, Ava, Great granddaughter who is on the way, Jaidyn Faith, 1 brother, Warren Rodgers of Owosso.

She was predeceased by her parents, 4 brothers, Charles, Maynard, Lloyd Rodgers and Stan Clum.
