Pauline Jeanette "Nettie" Eva, age 67, of Corunna, MI passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at Ingham Regional Medical Center, Lansing, MI.

A Memorial Service will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel, Corunna, MI on Friday, August 14, 2009 at 11:00 A.M., Pastor Martine Guy will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.

Pauline was born in Owosso, Michigan on May 24, 1942, the daughter of Michael and Margaret (Papenfuss) Moats. She graduated from Corunna High School with the class of 1960. Pauline married Gary Dean Eva in Corunna, Michigan in 1961 and he survives her.

Nettie, as she was known to her friends, worked at several of the local factories in the area. She enjoyed baking, and walking her dog, but her greatest pleasure in life was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She resided all of her life in the Owosso and Corunna area. Nettie was a member of the V.F.W. Post #9455 Ladies Auxiliary in Owosso. She attended St. Paul's Episcopal Church.

She is survived by three sons; Leman Eva of Three Rivers, MI, Brian and Christine Eva of Owosso, MI, Kevin and Gennie Eva of Owosso, MI, five grandchildren; Cassie Croft, Katie Croft, Nicholas Eva, Jamison Eva, Jessica Eva, one great grandchild April Croft, siblings; Jeanie Daley, Connie Klatt, Dwayne Gardner, Don Gardner, Martine Guy, Margaret "Peggy" Zitterkoph, Dana Van Houton, Dan Gardner, and Melody Kretzschmer. She was predeceased by her parents, and 1 sister Pamela Bennett.
