Pauline Lowe

Pauline C. Lowe passed away November 29, 2009 at the age of 88. She was born in Maple Rapids, Michigan on January 21, 1921, the daughter of Gerald and Bertha (Roberts) Abbott. Pauline married James Lowe in Maple Rapids on December 6, 1942 and he preceded her in death on December 12, 2000.

Pauline is survived by her daughters, Jean (Scott) McIntyre and Mary (Joseph) Gavenda; her sons, Robert Lowe, Daniel (Carol) Lowe and Frederick (Vicki) Lowe. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 17 step great grandchildren; sister, Lucille Paine; brothers, Richard (Janet) Abbott, Donald (Marje) Abbott; sister-in-law, Lois Lowe and many nieces and nephews. A very special thank you to Missy Taylor. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, sister, Doris Abbott and brothers, Leslie Abbot and Rodney Abbott.

Funeral services will be Thursday, December 3, 2009 at 11 A.M. at the Maple Rapids Congregational Christian Church and burial will be at the Sowle Cemetery with Pastor Jerry Kissling officiating. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at the Abbott Chapel of the Osgood Funeral Homes.
