Pauline Mead

Pauline K. Mead age 85 of Bath, Michigan died Monday, February 26, 2007 at her home.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie Chapel Elsie, MI on Friday, March 2, 2007 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Edwin Snook will officiate with burial at Riverside Cemetery Elsie, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2007 from 6-8 P.M. and Thursday, March 1, 2007 from 2-8 P.M. with family present 2-4 & 6-8 P.M.

Pauline was born in Boswell, Pennsylvania on June 8, 1921 the daughter of Martin and Anna ( Pavlik ) Kusnier. She resided most of her life in the Bath & Elsie areas and attended Fox Country School. Pauline married Elmer V. Mead Sr. in 1940 in Bannister, MI. He died on April 12, 2001. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time in her garden and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by 3 sons; Elmer "Bud" Mead Jr. of Bath, MI, Ronald L. Mead of Bath, MI, David Mead of Bath, MI, 3 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, and 1 brother Tony & Joanne Kusnier of Elsie, MI. She is predeceased by her parents, husband, and brothers & sisters John, Mike, Eddie, Mary, Anna & Katherine.

Memorials may be made to Alzheimer Association. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie Chapel.
