Pauline A. Twomley, age 95 passed away Thursday morning, March 8, 2012 at Memorial Healthcare Owosso, Michigan.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, March 12, 2012 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Owosso, Michigan with Rev. Fr. Michael O'Brien officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 11, 2012 at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. A Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Pauline was born in Lakewood, Ohio on June 14, 1916, the daughter of Martin Chrome and Elizabeth (Bulik) Chrome. She attended schools in Lakewood, Ohio and resided most of her life in the Owosso area. She and her husband Carl were married in Owosso on August 27, 1934. Carl predeceased her October 8, 1996 after 62 years of marriage. Pauline was retired from Montgomery Ward where she made many life long friends. Pauline enjoyed gardening, baking and cooking. She loved her family and was a kind and loving person. Pauline was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, and was a devout Christian.
Survivors include 2 daughters; Betty Tice of Sacramento, CA, Elaine and Wayne Mahoney of Owosso, MI, 1 son Richard of Flint, MI, 6 grandchildren; Alan & Mary Lou Mahoney, Gary Mahoney, Mary Mahoney of Williamston, Mark & Linda Tice of Saratoga, CA, Toni & Joe Arbios of Carmichael, CA, Teri & Mark Stoesser of Lake Oswego, OR, 8 great-grandchildren, one sister in-law Pat Chrome of Mason and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Carl and her brother Milton Chrome.
