Peggy Gene Caylor, age 83, of Owosso, MI passed away Sunday, December 20, 2009 at her home.

Peggy was born in Buffalo, Illinois on June 12, 1926, the daughter of Virgil and Louella (Werner) Edwards. Peggy resided most of her life in Madison Heights, MI and Owosso. She graduated from Decatur High School in 1945. Peggy married Ross Caylor on September 7, 1946 in Decatur, IL.
Peggy worked as a secretary at Maxwell Street Presbyterian Church and previously for Birmingham Public Schools and for A.E. Staley's Manufacturing. Peggy will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother who always thought of others. She enjoyed crafts, especially knitting sweaters and mittens for children.
Peggy is survived by her husband Ross Caylor of Owosso, MI, son Roger and Lynne Caylor of Central Lake, MI, daughter Paula and Gary Weston of Fulton, Missouri, 2 grandchildren; Heather and Kenneth Kenworthy of Warren, MI. Kendra Jump of Warren, MI, 3 great-grandchildren; Nathan, Zoey and Madison, and
3 sisters; Virginia Cobb of Los Angeles, CA, Dorothy Moore of Chapel Hill, NC, and Mary Lindsten of Deltona, FL. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents.
